Gilgit-Baltistan has released Revised Basic Pay Scales 2022.

As per the latest notification Gilgit-Baltistan Government has issued revised basic pay scale and increase in allowance notification. GB employees will no longer receive more than five ad hoc allowances in previous years. However all these ad hoc allowances, GB government has now added these allowances to the basic pay. Thus their basic pay has increased to about 1.5 times their previous pay.

Similarly, as their basic pay increases, employees who will retire on or after July 1, 2022, will also get about 1.5 times more commute/gratuity amount. They will also get encashment amount which they would get without basic modification.
