Are you a foreign citizen and seeking entry into Pakistan? If yes, then you have landed on the perfect website. According to the details, the Economic Affairs Division has opened its doors for admissions in various degree programs. He announced admissions in MBBS, BDS, D Pharmacy, and BSc Engineering in various universities of Pakistan. These entries are valid only for Pakistanis holding foreign citizenships under the Pakistan Technical Assistance Program (PTAP). Not only this, only limited seats are available in the fields of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy) and B.Sc. Engineering for students of foreign nationality of Pakistani origin for the session 2022-23.
Admission is purely merit list. However, the fee structure is also released for each department. Those who are interested should apply before the last date. Last date to apply for PTAP program for Pharmacy and BSc Engineering programs is August 09, 2022. The last date to apply for PTAP MBBS and BDS Admission 2022 is 15 September 2022. Eligibility Criteria for BSc Engineering Program 2022:-
Applicants who fulfill the following eligibility criteria can apply through proper channel.
- An applicant who has successfully passed 12th year HSSC or equivalent in the following subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is eligible.
- Minimum 60% marks in HSSC or equivalent examination.
- As suggested by some universities, candidates must clear SAT-I and SAT-II or Entrance Test.
- Applicant must provide a valid TOEFL or IELTS score of S50 or 5.5 respectively
- Certification from National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad after one year English language course.
D. Eligibility Criteria for Pharmacy Programs:-
- An applicant who has successfully passed FSC in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at HSSC or equivalent level.
- Minimum 60% marks in HSSC or equivalent from Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC).
- Valid proof of Pakistani origin in the form of Pakistan Origin Card/NADRA LD Card or Pakistani Passport.
Documents required:-
- Detailed Marks Certificate/Transcripts with HSSC or equivalent certificate.
- Equivalency Certificate issued by the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen in case of foreign qualification.
- Foreign citizenship, self, and parent (foreign passport, certificate of citizenship, etc.). A green card is not accepted as proof of foreign citizenship.
- Proof of Pakistani origin (Pakistani passport, LD card etc.)
- Valid TOEFL/IELTS score card for admission to B.Sc. Engineering in case the medium of instruction is not English.
How to apply for EAD admissions under PTAP:-
- Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of EAD www.ead.gov.pk.
- Candidates interested in applying for the above posts should submit their complete applications in the prescribed application form (in square format) to the R&l/PTAP Section of the Economic Affairs Division.
